Bonded to the Paint
A coating bonds to the clear coat. Wax just sits on top and washes away.
A hard, glossy layer bonded over your clear coat, so the sun and dust hit the coating instead of your paint.
Ceramic coating is our most requested service. We apply it at your home, and the full job takes about a day, around 8 hours on site.
Albuquerque paint takes high-altitude sun, blowing dust and grit all year. A coating sits on top of the clear coat and takes that wear first. Coated paint also sheds water and dirt more easily, so every wash after it is quicker.

The wet-look shine lasts long after the detail, not just for the week.

The coating takes the UV and dust that wear Albuquerque paint down.

Water and dirt slide off, so washing takes less effort and less rubbing.

No drop-off and no ride home. We apply it where the car parks.
What a coating does well, and what it does not do.
A ceramic coating cures into a thin, hard layer over the clear coat. Road film, bird droppings, sap and sun work against that layer instead of etching straight into your paint.
The cured layer is clear and smooth, which is where the deep, wet look comes from. It also keeps that look longer than a wax.
Coated paint is slick, so water beads and runs off and dirt lets go with less rubbing. Less rubbing means fewer swirl marks over time.
A coating is not armor. It will not stop rock chips or deep scratches, and it still needs regular, gentle washing to last. That is what our maintenance plan is for.
Every coating is quoted for your car and its paint. We confirm the price before we start.

A ceramic coating is a liquid applied to clean paint that cures into a hard, glass-like layer. Once it cures, it changes how the paint handles water, dirt and sun.
Water beads up and rolls off, taking loose dirt with it. Contamination sits on the coating instead of the paint, and washing gets quicker and gentler.
